Our Autumn, 4 day tour allows a perfect taste of Japan's most iconic destinations, while still leaving you time to explore the other major cities in your own time, before or after your FotoMoto Tour.

DAY 1

After picking up the bikes, we set off eastward to Shiokawa waterfalls for our traditional bowing-in ritual to begin the ride. Next, we head on to Lake Yamanaka to get our first picturesque view of Fuji-san. From here, we stop at a very photogenic torimon gate to see more side of the iconic volcano. Ending the afternoon with the ever-impressive Chureito Pagoda overlooking Mt Fuji, before we head to Lake Shoji and out traditional accomodation for the night, relaxing with a long, hot bath and delicious dinner.

DAY 2

First we stop by Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko for a photo session your friends will be envious of for years to come. Next, we get more amazing views of Fuji-san from a Samurai Village at Saiko Lake. A brief coffee stop at Jukkoku Pass before getting onto the famous Skyline Road, taking us to the autumn colours and stunning, rugged coastline of the Izu peninsula.  We stop in at the beautiful Banjo Waterfalls and to a nearby Wasabi terrace that seems straight out of a Ghibli movie. Arriving for the saturated sunsets off the coast at Dogashima where you can bath right by the oceanside in hot mineral waters to sooth your muscles before dinner.

DAY 3

In the morning we head down the rugged and twisting coastline of Izu Peninsula. By mid morning we stop off for coffee at an elevated lookout and cafe with views you have to see to believe. We hug the coastline further down and under the Surf mecca of Kisama Beach and go on to Shirahama Beach for lunch. Then, on to Kama Daru Falls before taking more amazing twisties up to breathtaking Lake Ashi in Hakone.

DAY 4

We head down to the incredible Hakone Shrine, set in amongst the giant cedar trees on the shores of the lake. Then, off we ride through the mountain passes and on to Odawara Castle, which has to be one of Japan's most iconic feudal era castles. After lunch we zoom off to Kotoku-In Temple to take in the majesty of the Kamajura bronze Buddha that is synonymous with Japan. After a coffe break and snack, we ride back to Yokohama, drop off the bikes and head to our farewell dinner to reminisce about our favourite and most treasured sights and experiences of the trip.

This ride can be done at almost any time of year so let us know your preferred dates.
